March was lonely.
April is sort of the opposite.

Write a song of celebration. I don't care what you want to celebrate (Spring, love, coffee), but joy should come through.

Pure, unadulterated joy.

Some examples:
"Shout!" - who did this? I know the one from Animal House.
"Celebrate" - Kool & The Gang? A staple at weddings, for good reason.
Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" is pretty fuckin' badass, too.

Pay attention to tempo & beat. It's critical here.
The proper reactions to the tempo should be smiles & dancing.
If you've got that the rest can almost write itself.

Joy, happiness, celebrations.

Happy April.

I've got one...

...and it fits both the April 09 and the April 08 challenges: Your four words are in there, it's all dim7 chords, and it's a celebration song.

Two chickens, one rock. Beat that!

Would like to give this song more time, as it has some rough spots, but the lady I'm singing about is actually arriving from Scotland tomorrow, and we've got better things to do than tracking.

See y'all in May,
Mike

Cool!
Who knew so many dom 7 chords could sound so happy?

Nicely done Mike, and have a great time with the lady.

Poor little chickens...
(Maybe we should call you Chickenstomper instead?)
