Hi everyone,
This is a little funk-jazz ditty I composed a whie back.
In the light of Master Brecker's demise, I decided to dust it off and breath new life into it.

My suffer from pretty severe tinnitis so I need a bit of help with my frequency balance.
Thanks for your input :)

Hi Paul,
The parts of this tune that caught my ear were the live stuff - the guitar and sax solos. I think what Brecker personified was the ability to inject his personality into whatever he was playing. It's pretty hard to get that from something sequenced, IMHO.
So, what I kept wondering when listening was: "if he's got a live guitarist and sax player, both of whom apparently have chops, why are most of the composed lines being played by a sequenced synth pad?"
Inquiring minds want to know.

Why indeed?
Well, this is done in my home studio in a VERY small room. I could have spent more time making the keyboards more interesting but you can call me lazy. I played the guitar. That doesn't take up a lot of room. As for the sax player, it's Michael Brecker sampled from a solo concert. I am not putting this out commercially so please don't rant about copyright. I just wanted to share and get opinions on the overall mix.
