Ok here is an old mix I did and the recording wasn't done by me only the mixing and I would like some light advice to any obvious mistakes and improvements that could be made please

The kik/bass ratio is skewed. The kik has a huge burst of low end. The bass seems small in comarison. The snare is too low in the mix. The overheads seem slightly low in this mix but I could live with that. It's the kik man. You're killing me with that kik!

Cheers, I see hear where your coming from. I shall adjust for this and try and repost.

yeah.. the bass is like... almost not there in the lower registers.

I'd sort it aginst the kick and just give the whole thing a bit more.. 250-450 "butter".

Warm it up a tad?

The low end of this is a bit AM radio,IMHO.

like the Bass sound,but the whole kit just aint sitting right imo
the kicks a large dull thud and the snare sounds false in ratio
I would like to hear the kit tightened up and brought into focus
some crack and volume on the snare,bottom end rolled of the kick and some beater sound
nice song though....:Thumbsup:
