What kind of harmonizers do you guys use?

I used to have a Digitech Whammy Wah, but it crapped out and couldn't be fixed due to the proprietary chip (or wtf ever) it used. Then I got another Digitech fx pedal which had harmonizer as well as delay, reverb, and cab modeling, and it crapped out almost immediately, souring me probably forever on Digitech :finger:

A year back I bought a Digitech Whammy 4, total tone suck (not true bypass) I could have got around that issue somehow but the pedal continuously needed to be re-calibrated so I returned it for full refund.

Using NI Guitar Rig 3 it has a virtual Whammy pedal that works better than the Whammy 4 but that's only a software solution.

Recently I bought a used Eventide H3000-D/SE, it can perform diatonic pitch shifting, many cool sounds. Beats the crap harmonizer fx in my GT-8. Not sure it can achieve Whammy pitch expression.?
My singer was more floored by the 231 Micro Pitch Shift patch, it creates a great doubled vocal effect.
:Coolio:

To get back to the OP's question, I use a couple of (talented) chicks from my local bar.

To get back to the OP's question, can they sing guitar riffs and do cab modeling ?

Currently using a Digitech Expression Factory for all my whammying needs - although I'm generally using it as a pitch shift, not as a harmonizer as such because you're kind of stuck to their presets.

On my old Digitech RP6, I had a patch set up with minor thirds heel down, major thirds toe down... and I would flick my foot forwards or backwards depending on what the next interval was going to be. More trouble than it was worth, and then it died.

Many similar experiences with Digitech junk myself.

I had one of their rack harmonizers 10+ years ago. Sounded like crap and was buggy.

I have a Digitech pedal board. It's a bit large for a paperweight and not really heavy enough for a good doorstop.
