Don't know if anyone has seen this, but it looks like a new service coming up for us musical types to do some online collaborative work. The price doesn't seem so bad either if it works (Rocket Network was okay 10 years ago, but it was terribly slow).

You might want to look at this - http://www.source-elements.com/

Charles mentioned this on PSN a week or so ago.

I've heard it mentioned on a couple of podcasts as well as PSN. Only problem for me is that I am currently not a ProTools user at the moment (although I did contemplate getting M-Powered). In a way, this service seems like it's "for the rest of us".

The Source Elements plugz are also available as VSTs.

The Source Elements plugz are also available as VSTs.

That would only work if it functions within the VST-AU wrapper. Otherwise, they would need to think of adding audio units to their stable.

It would be an interesting experiment.

I was on Rocket Network! Res Rocket Surfer! Boy, that takes me back :) good to see someone else exploring this. It was so cool, having a sort of bastard offspring of a MIDI sequencer and IRC...
