Anyone used one of these? Considering grabbing one for my live guitar rack setup.

What should it do for you?
I have the g-major (without 2) and it is a really nice multi FX box.
But I'd consider to get the g-force instead of the g-major 2, if I were to buy a new box,
because it has a 1MOhm instrument input that enables you to route the Wah-Block before your preamp.
Otherwise you need an extra Wah, extra cables,
or a Midi/19" Wah solution that will be as expensive in the end.

I'm fine having a wah on my board - i have one and a heap of patches anyway. Any other reason?

Wait, i'm confused. you're not saying you can go gforce's wah, out into the preamp, back into the gforce and thru the rest of the chain, are you? i dont see how its possible.

Uhmm, I'm not deep into the g-force, a friend of mine uses it that way, here (http://g-force.info/effect_loop.htm) seems to be a howto for the workaround.
Dunno whether this is a decent solution or a crutch, now that you are asking...

Well anyway, I barely use wah! Which is why my Crybaby isn't even on my board.

If money's not an issue - I'd go with an Eleven and a Roland volume pedal. It's a smorgasbord of tube like amps and fx. I did however find a downside. It acts like a computer and sometimes have a hard time booting. :headpalm: I suspect a future firmware upgrade will take care of that. Which means you'll have to make a hard reset while losing your user presets - which of course can be reinstalled via Alsihad.

From what I've tried (Pods - yecch, Guitar Rig - so so, Amplitube - bearable etc.) there's NOTHING touching the Eleven in fidelity. I've tricked two bona fide card carrying valve luddites into believing it's a tube amp going on. They bought it - hook, line and sinker. :vuvu:

YMMV - Knastcher

I'd rather not go with the Eleven, unless it sounds SIGNIFICANTLY different + better to the plugin, which I don't like at all - and in fact I'd probably end up with an AxeFx if I upgraded the rack from this point.

The ADA MP1 I'm using is actually all tube, and I'm installing the 3 tube mod soon which adds more gain. And then there's eight (count em, EIGHT!) power valves in my poweramp as well (plus a couple of 12ax7's). The ADA's got a fairly unique sound, and I bought it for a reason... if I bought an Eleven I'd be using it to try and recreate the sound of a hardware unit that I already have.

Brendo, what kind of power amp are you running?

Peavey Classic 50/50. Stereo 50w or bridged 100w, EL84's.

Got the G Major 2, fired it up a couple days ago, it's pretty awesome. Quality's excellent, the interface is very usable, the only problem is there is a slight delay in patch switching - but the dry signal continues through so its barely imperceptible.
