Okay. I know I'm risking pummeling, stoning, burning, and other related affection-ridden activities, especially in the light of how things are going in the EVH thread, but I thought of giving it a shot anyway... after all, I've got 911 on speed dial anyway...

I just wanted to present to you the finished efforts of something that was somewhat related to this place... my first CD project. Okay, granted... there are NO physical CD's yet (clearing a few legal issues), but I've decided to put the music out there anyway.

A few details...

This is a guitar-infected project, from a guitar player, and definitely contains nuts. Interestingly, as un-sexy as guitar solo projects tend to be (by reputation anyway), this one has been very well received by all the hot chicks that are part of my life (all 3 of them!!). I guess I'm trying to give it a better public image by saying that... ahem... okaaay... *awkward*...

This was produced and recorded by myself, mixed by a Wombian, and mastered by another Wombian (names have been hidden to protect the innocent... although if persuaded enough, I might give them away... :Roll eyes:)

Okay! Enough already... before ridiculing myself any further, here it is!! Enjoy!! (And let me know what you think, if you so feel inclined).

I'll take that as a "we'll spare you the stoning"... thanks!
Well... I hope that my next project will maybe actually make you believe instrumental rock can be enjoyed... we'll see! Cheers man!

Sorry Toonman...

But your music is just not mainstream. Your melodies are far to complicated for kids today. They like stuff to be sung on one note. It is not compressed to shit, it is not autotuned to hell, and it has much too much punch to be popular on radio.

The Mixer and Mastering engineers doesn't know what sells at the moment, and they made the mix and master too balanced and much too dynamic... and entirely too musical.

:headpalm:

Great job all round IMHO

Keep doing this... if only for real music's sake

I like it.

(have to admit I only heard about a minute of the first two tracks)

I usually don't like sites that have too many moving things, but I somehow like your site. nice.

Wow... apparently, the CD tastes good! Thanks a lot everyone! I'm very honored, and happy, that you've enjoyed it. I'll continue working on some additional material related to this project, before moving on to the next one... I'll keep you posted! Cheers!
