Ok .. so I was screwed.

My DAW was crashing every edit.

Literally.

I bitched on chatwomb about having to work with a crutch.

And...

Padboy sent me two 24 / 24 T/R/S snakes and a 12/24 insert snake.

Why?

So I could get in and out of the HDR 24 that Dr. Bob shipped to me to use until May.

"Pay me later".

"Send it back when you're done."

No fudging, no making me feel like a beggar.

Hundreds in cables I can pay back later this month and a $1,500.00 recorder so new the remote was never unpacked.

I'm a tracking motherfucker.

And I have a deadline.

Why?

Because bb_kong is passing some of my tunes off to a very serious cat who shall go un-named, atm.

You can talk gear, you can talk methods, you can shovel crap forever about the nuances of blah, blah, blah.. but when it gets to nuts and bolts, the wombats make things happen.

Bucket brigading consoles across the country, loaning gear, making things happen in real world terms for people who actually work in this industry and are looking for purchase on the next rung.
