Well...it's finally come time to let one go.
It's literally spent all but about 4 hours of the last 18 months or so in its case, in a corner, not seeing any use whatever. Was usurped by a vintage U87 as the main VO mic at our shop...and I haven't found as much work for this guy since.
It was a main VO mic for about a year, where it lived in a smoke-free VO booth. Everything works except for the power lamp on the PSU. I had a spare bulb for it at one point, but I lost the damn thing and wasn't ever really bothered by the lack of a light...when the switch was up, I knew it was on anyways. There also seems to be a little oxidation or dulling on some of the outer metalwork...I can't quite peg where this came from, but it's only cosmetic, and it's BARELY cosmetic at that.
I'd like to do $1400 shipped (CONUS) on this...if you're local enough to Minneapolis and are willing to pick 'er up (or are close enough that a reasonable halfway drive is possible)...I can knock some off the price. I'm perhaps open to a reasonable offer on it as well...I'd rather see this mic go somewhere where it'll be used than see the case collect dust in the corner of my shop.
I'd also consider some trade items against the value of this guy...namely ATM-25's...and perhaps a DBX 160X or XT compressor or two...or something else, perhaps. I'm pretty well set for instruments and amps at this point, though. Looking more for mics and compressors (or cash, so I can buy some mics and compressors...and maybe finally get my Quad 8 builds off the ground!).
