Let's say you play in a tribute band...and someone comes to give a helping hand.

Sound sucks, image quality sucks...but it's still fucking great.

You mean, when I start a Kylie Minogue tribute band there's some
hope the Kylie shows up at one of the shows?

Cool!

Where's my lady-shaver?

What a drummer.

He hasn't lost the reckless precision.

I wonder what year that is..........looks like an older clip.

How many obscenities can you write on your drum heads before you get banned from the club?

Ah but it's because his drums are a very close clone of Stewart's kit. Which had his little mantra against Sting written on the skins :

"FUCK. OFF. YOU. CUNT"

So it's an hommage and not an obscenity.

That guys just slays a drum kit. That's pretty cool that he got up there and played with those guys.

I had a kit with the same mantra on the heads, but it had extended phrasing because I had one of those jerkass thousand piece Neil Pearl influneced kits.

I gotta warn anyone that hasn't seen it yet... Do NOT watch the Police "Everyone Stares" DVD if you are hungover, unless you want to induce vomiting.

Doesn't Antares make a steady cam plug in for Final Cut Pro?

From "Rockstar"... the line I still use today:

"Why don't you write me a song about why in the hell I'd ever want to do that".

Works for a LOT of situations.

Very cool. Looks like he doesn't care about impressing anybody, he just loves to play.

I've got a friend who did lights for a Genisis tribute band (all the old seventies Peter Gabriel stuff), and one night Phil Collins showed up and sat in with them for an encore. Afterwards he said that he had forgoten how hard some of those songs were.

It looks like Stewart did a lot better on his turn.

Very cool. What a buzz for that band.

Wonder how the band's usual drummer was feeling...

One of the greatest Police tunes for sure. "Stung" were kings for a night! I love Copeland calling out tunes - didn't look like he wanted to get out from behind the kit anytime soon. :very happy:

Great find, Goes!
