View Full Version : Digi Gate 3 has gone mad.

The Digi Gate/Expander 3 is acting pretty odd.

Firstly, it seems to eat a lot of resources, I mean A LOT. Basically just about everything.

Secondly, it goes into this insane state of self-oscillation of the crumbly, digital, a-little-bit-like-a-word-clock-gone-mad kind. It's very nearly destroyed my hearing a few times.

Occasionally it crashes everything.

And when it's working, it's certainly not doing what it's meant to do.

I guess the old voodoo of trashing prefs, repairing permissions and re-installing the Digi dynamics 3 may help, I've not done it yet, cause I can carry on without the gate, but I'm curious if anyone else had any trouble with it.

LE, 7.3.1.

Nothing here and that gate gets used religiously by me.

Hmm. Maybe I should try reinstall it.

That would be your best bet. Of course, make sure you download the latest and proper version for what you are running. The whole switch to version 7 sent a lot of plug-ins to the meat grinder.

I did so when I upgraded to 7.3.

Actually, what wasn't included were the old Dynamics II plugs, which was a bit problematic when opening old sessions with old plugs. However, those were available somewhere.

I still kinda miss their Soviet-era GUI... :D

Check your Unused Plugins folder.

Oh, I did find them there a long time ago, but thanks anyway! :)
