Ok straight to the point I am completly new to the interfacing and recording scene so please go easy.
I'm mainly a live audio boy but I want to find some way of doing some recordings and possibly some live recordings and was wondering what I can do using my foh desk.
The desk is a Yamaha 02R version 2 not the 96 as I found out the hard way.

what option cards (if any) do you have in it? and how many tracks do you want to be able to record at once?

I believe there are two aes/ebu's which mean a little too me but not too much.

They look the same as that.
And as for tracks im hoping to have enough to get a 3 piece band done really so I would hazard a guess at around 16 track ?
