Ten of 'em? Are ya building a sculpture?
I'd say ebay, but I think Goes probably has a better source.
Mrs. 211: "Goes, when are you going to clean all the reels out of the attic?"

the sculpture would actually be a good idea.. or i could use them to make very cool and original pizzas. :icon_eek:
couldn't find anything on ebay, but it looks like doctor Goes has a good solution for me!:)

(Ahhh, sweet smell of Ampex... :Coolio: )
Geewholeeo...listen, the ones I have are 18cm diameter (approx 7")
I've unspooled 12 of them and they're ready to go...but will they work for you ?

Goes looks like he's auditioning for Slipknot.
Hmmm.... "Goes211 #10" doesn't have much of a ring to it though. :D

I've got a really nice 2" aluminum take up reel I've been looking at for a year, wondering how I could transform it with some creativity..
Can't weld it, aluminum, too small for an ashtray, too soft for a wheel chock, too light for a doorstop and too heavy for a Christmas tree ornament.
I'm out of ideas.
And no, I'm not buying a machine to put under it.
I fell for that once when I found a Corvette steering wheel...

At JMC we nail those fuckers to the wall and hang our patch leads on them...

Nice picture Goes. Reminds me of the cover to King's X's "Tapehead' album.
Adequate songs, horrible sound.
Thank the lord for Michael Wagener.
