Well another Uk person. Do you want any more tour dates? I have chucked your 'myspace' to the promoter that runs the nights I engineer so no doubt he will be in contact. Nice songs and not like all this new school crap that is going about.

I didn't know you were a lass.

Hehe.

You guys don't have even one Scottish date in there, dude. The closest venue is down in Newcastle and Wigan and I don't understand a word they say in either of them. Bloody geordies and scousers...

Do a Scottish tour and I'll get your shandy. We've never met with you but Max The Mac and Dave B were up here in Glasgow a fortnight ago to install a desk and It was great to see them again. I took them out to a curry so the restaurant is tested and proven to be good.

I mean... I hope.

I didn't see them post online since then but it might be due to something else. I don't know. Eheh.

Have a good one.

heh, not sure why they picked that shot, there were about 50 of em !!

re: scotland

we did play 4 dates north of the border as part of oxjam last month. we were scheduled to do more as part of the january tour, however i'm not actually being paid enough to make ends meet to do this (i have business costs which need to be covered), which is why it's been planned with no more than 4 consecutive dates, to give me a chance to keep work flowing in between.

the scotland leg was 9 days on the road, and i stated quite clearly that it would near enough bankrupt me to take that much time off work (i'm self employed) on the rates they are paying, especially with my current finances being in dire straits and its a month til christmas.

so it all got reshuffled and a lot of dates (including all the scotland ones) got cancelled.

if everyone goes out and buys the album when it's released then maybe rose can afford to pay me properly and we'll tour more heavily !

No worries. Drop me a message if (and when) you come up and we'll hook up.

The best of luck with the tour.

Ya'll get paid in the UK? :icon_eek:

well rose does this for a living - gigging and selling merch. she pays us out of the money she earns. we don't get a cut, we get an actual rate per show (which isn't much, but it's enough to mean i can actually do it). being the driver as well as a player means i get more than the rest of the band, and rose being the actual person behind it all, gets basically fuck all after she's paid out all the expenses and her band's wages. seriously, i think she actually survives on determination rather than food/shelter/etc like everyone else.
