Anybody here seen this??
I don’t quite know how I missed it, frankly. I was into that scene at the time, and was at the Judas Priest show where this flick was filmed, although certainly not in the parking lot early enough to be in the flick. My friends and I were so lame we were always stuck in traffic on Central Ave until the last minute, but this never affected our ability to, er, “prepare” for the show.
Anyway, my buddy’s band (http://www.vollmerrocks.net/) is performing for the 20th anniversary screenings, but until he mentioned the gig, I had never heard of the movie. They got the gig because the guitar player’s wife is one of the chicks in the movie, and the filmmakers went out searching for people in the movie to come to these anniversary screenings. She mentioned his band, and the idea grew from there. Unfortunately, I can’t make the gig this Wed as we have people coming into town for the holiday….grrrr!
Anyway, I’m just blabbing. If anyone here is in the VA/DC/MD area, the screening is this Wed at the Arlington at the Cinema and Draft House. The Baltimore screening was a couple of weeks ago.
