So, I got this upgrade just before a massive BGVs tightening session...

I gotta say my initial reaction is that I'm impressed... Antares did something right this time, as opposed to in Auto-Toon 4.

The auto mode seems to track better and actually the process of audiosuite-ing 20+ BGVs was much faster than I think it would have been with 4...

I haven't used graphical much yet but drawing curves by hand felt *much* better(better resolution and mouse tracking), and the session time code sync and larger window don't hurt either. even the "natural vibrato" control seemed to work somewhat...

Anyone else tried it yet?

You luddite fools! After a couple weeks of usage I actually love this baby for the grunt work it saves me by actually doing the auto stuff better!

...The only prob I've seen is that when I use the new ultra cool feature of having it as an real-time insert in graphical mode (playback in track pitch mode once-> import auto-> edit at will, stays in sync) it goes haywire in loop playback, at least in PT... A mild PITA.

It has improved, which is something, since between versions 3 and 4 it magically became worse. The real-time graphical thing takes a few minutes to fiugre out (there was something fishy about it), but it's good and efficient. The big graphical window is a huuuge bonus.

The real time- graphical insert loop plug can be fixed via, after being finished with one's tuning moves, copying the plug-in settings to an audiosuite instance of Otto, where it remembers *all* of the pitch and correction data created in insert mode, and stays in sync... So it's easy and fast to create a playlist and burn to a file.

I need to iron out some stuff about using it, but it still feels like an improvement.
