Yeah. I hate to report this, but I just got a call from Bob's wife and she gave me the news.

Upon hearing my golden vocal stylings on Team Milk Carton, he was so overwhelmed that he fell backwards out of his chair and landed on an icepick that penetrated his eardrums. Nine times.

The doctors say the transplant worked fine, but he won't be able to work for at least three weeks.

Sorry.

Well...that's appropriate.

Anything less than nine times is positively underwhelming. :D

Cheers,
Tim

Upon hearing my golden vocal stylings on Team Milk Carton...

You should know better than to send your vocal tracks to anyone for mastering...

That's no reason for a delay! When Bethoven could write such beautiful music being deaf, why shouldn't Bob be able to do a little mastering ...

... also, last I counted, humans had two ears, so what's the biggie?:very happy:

Two icepicks.

One was a backup, just to be safe.

I only hope the transplanted eardrums weren't from someone who was tone deaf.

Nope cloned from Bob's own ears using stem cells. He can now hear out to about 22k. This is going to be cool!

Now that you mention in... I was in the subway in Tokyo last week, and I could have sworn that I heard my shakuhachi part coming out of a cellphone. Hard to say, because I was right by the doors and hopped out at Shinjuku a moment later.

Pocari Sweat!

Ice cold beer that does not suck from a vending machine!

Better sushi at the fucking 7/11 than 80% of the japanese restaurants in the US

I love that City!

Hot coffee in a can! French fries! Green tea Haagen-Dazs! All from machines.
What's that pastry with some kind of pork filling that you get real cheap at the 7/11? I love those things.

I don't know what they're called but I know what your talking about and I love'em too.

We're pretty lucky out here in CA cause there are a few places that cary pretty much all the major vending machine goodies, not the things like edible underwear and such, but all the Boss coffees and royal milk tea and plum and melon soda. They also make really good bento.

It's odd cause I don't think most folks would think of Tokyo as a food destination but it's killer like that.
