Thats some real "Manitoba" Traditional Jiggin Stuff, You may be able to find some up in BC , Im not entirely sure, Glad you enjoyed it though, its great stuff to record and mix, cuz your contiually tapping yer toes !

I like the room sound,its one aphex mic (i know) in omni above the fiddle, and then a touch of verb thats about it,
the record was cut fiddle and accoustic and drum machine off the floor,
the drums were overdubbed with some room mics and close mics, bass and the capoed accoustics were overdubbed,
thats it
