Playing out Friday night a crappy little place, that just got it's liquor license back a month ago, and only had beer. Playing to very few people.

Being too near the drummer that is over playing the "Brass", killing my ears right before CAPE comes out.

Well, one of the aims of this forum from its inception was to have more collaborations pop up spontaneously, outside the confines of CAPE. Truly, there's nothing stopping any of us from putting up a few tracks for collab. Hope more do!

One of the reasons why CAPE works so well is because everyone is assigned to an instrument!
Doing a collab ouside of it you might end up with 30 guitar tracks, 50 drums tracks, etc, then you have to sit down, choose on or two and write thank you/rejection emails, which I discovered after my Promises project sucks big time...

Other than inviting players to my/our projects I'm not going to do it anymore cause it really broke my heart.

That said, I'm always happy to play on someone elses track though (does that make me a hypocrite?) http://www.msc.id.au/private/tmp/scratchchin.gif
