This is the first mix for a project that I have been working for some time with a friend. I thought it might be nice to have some feedback before I move onto the rest of the project. :grin:

This is a fine mix with a few small issues.
I appreciate the idea that some folks are more fond of reverb than others... to me, this is a bit wet all around but to each his or her own.
My main quibble is that the gut string guitar is way bigger than the vocal... and everything else for that matter. The vocal sounds too secondary when it returns after the solo... who is the mix serving?

Thanks for setting me straight there Aardvark. Of course it is serving the vocalist, but he is very fond of the solo and would never complain about it being loud. I already came to the same conclusion myself and pulled back the guitar solo a hair and pushed the vocal up a hair and took care of some ringy toms.
Thanks for the help. I hope oneday I can have the quick judgment to get these things right on the first try.
