Hello everybody

Maybe I should introduce myself alittle first... Well I'm a 25 year old songwriter from Sweden, sings, plays guitar and try to play keyboards (fail most of the time) And I am looking for a collaboration.

I write alot of songs and some of them I think would be really nice country songs. But when I record them they all sound just as everything else I record:Roll eyes:

I would love to get more into the "country sound" and don't know how I should do it, so that is why I decided to give this a try.

It would be really cool to find someone who is a good musician with some song/lyric writing skills who would like to help me out. It would be really cool to write some songs together over the internet. I have a decent home studio where I can record my ideas, and would love to share them with someone.

If there is somebody out there who is also into the modern type country like Keith Urban/Brad Paisley/Dixie Chicks etc and has a good feel for what sounds country:D give me a shout

Take care

Modern "country"? All Nashville's putting out these days is warmed over 80's pop with steel guitars and fiddles.

That's not country music to someone's whose first concert memory was seeing a double bill with Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn in 1962 (I was 4 - I'm not THAT much of a geezer).

If you're interested in a sound more like Faron Young, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagoner or any of the Hank Williams' clan (Sr., Jr. or III - I guess he'd come under "alt country"), PM me. No telling what two nobodies can come up with.

Heck - check out Team Twang from CAPE - THAT'S country!

Hey...I've been searching the forums for Team Twang but haven't found anything. Could anyone give me some pointers where I could find the song?

Hey man when you get a song together, I'd be happy to throw some slide guitar, Dobro, or lap steel on it. Been getting into alot of country lately artists lately. Although I prefer the old school, Brad Paisley is amazing! :D
