Hi everyone,
I thought it would be fun if we could do a Christmas song/cover/original, CaPE style - with a target end date of Christmas 2007. I know it's a bit early to start talking about this now, but it's probably the best time, seeing as everyone is full of Christmas cheer (read: eggnog).
Post suggestions for songs in this thread, lets say we'll make the deadline Saturday morning, Melbourne time. Then we'll have a poll to decide the most popular song, and signups.

Sussex Carol, Divinum Mysterium, Personent Hodie, or the Christ Child Lullabye (highlighting our talented female vocalists).

I think the NEXT CaPE (after the one about to start) oughta be a Christmas CaPE. All original Christmas songs. If we finish it by the end of September, we may finally have something worth selling, and a real chance at making a significant charitable contribution.
Just saying...
Cheers, Tim

That's not a bad idea at all, Tim, given that CAPE VI will likely start in September and finish in December. Indeed, even if public domain Christmas carols are covered with unique spins, that could be most interesting.

Well, that gets my vote over this... maybe in the Cape V signup thread get people to vote "yay or nay" on Xmas CaPE?
