All:

Every year I make a CD of what I've done in the last 12 months or so (that wasn't designated for something else).

No-Fi.

Unprofessionally recorded and mixed.

But if you'd like one, PM me with your mailing address, and in a few weeks you'll have 11 pretty good songs in yur mailbox, free.

thanks

PM Sent.

This is an awesome thing for you to offer, McAllister! And, judging from what I've heard of your stuff so far, this should be a CD full of some very cool tunes.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Dave

Hi everybody.
I am pleased that so many of you took me up on the offer.
I got the CDs back today. They have been boxed & addressed and will go out tomorrow (yes, even the international ones).

What with the holiday and all, I think the US ones should arrive Monday or so.

Enjoy.

Got mine today, but didn't have a chance to listen. Kinda busy with hangovers, naps and a gig and stuff.

I'll set aside some time tomorrow.

Paper Heart is one of those rare ones that should get done by the right person and make a million.

And Eddie, don't quit writing. You've got some of those inside you too.

Mine will be a while getting down here to the antipodes, but I got to hear Paper Heart through one of my CAPE teams.

I'm still very daunted at the prospect of doing justice to the vocals on that one.

I got mine last Wednesday and have been enjoying it since then.

Thanks much,
Jay:grin:

Thanks.

I am absolutely open to any and all constructive/critical feedback about the songs (not so much about my engineering/mixing chops - I know I lack seriously there).

Cheers.

Mine was waiting for me when I got back from a Thanksgiving vacation. McAllister, these are really catchy songs! I agree that "Paper Heart" is tops, but the hooks from "And I Like You," "Forget About It," and "You Could Say No" keep popping into my head.

"Fall Away From Here" really conveys its emotions well. Is there a story there that we'll hear about on your VH1 "Behind The Music" special?

This is a great body of work. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thanks. I am pleased that you dig it.

I'll send you Vol. 4, too (when finished). (previous volumes are "sold out", though I gave all those away, too).

Wow.
3 month turnaround, and if I remember correctly, I paid for 1st Class postage.

I guess I should be grateful it even arrived.

Anyone missing theirs?

Anyway, I hope you like it.
