Aframe suggested that the best way for me to get in some practice on mixing my drums would be to try to get a few tracks to mess with.

I'm looking for some stereo MP3s woth just the music and vocals..No drums. What I would like to do is just have something to play to and see how it turns out. By NO MEANS do you have to keep what I do..LOL:Roll eyes: I just want to try some differant styles of music and mix in my drums.

Can anyone gimme a hand?

With only 6 post here, i guess it would be a good idea to state some facts about me:grin:

I played in a band for about 5-6 years and recorded a album here at my studio. The last year was a bit hard for me. Not only did I set up the sound and my kit, I had the website going and recording! It took a toll on my and i started developing some neck issues. Seems that a birth defect and all the lifting and stress started aggrivating a vertibra and caused a slipped disc among some nerve damage. To sum that all up, I just can't dedicate myself to a band or traveling...so, I stepped away frm it all.

My new chriopractor has me in shape, not perfect, but good enoough for me to start recording at my own pace. If you were to allow me to play around and practice my drum recording with your tracks, I promised that the only place I'd submit them is here and ONLY here. I am fully aware of copyright laws and I protect them the same as you do. I am no thief nor would I ever consider doing that sort of thing.

Aframe999 and I go back about a year or so and i have done some recordings to his , and Julies music. He can verify I'm an honest squirrel just trying to get a nut. .LOL. All I want to do is have some music to practice too.

So, i figured some of you might say "Hey, this guy has only 6 post and why in the hell would we give him our tunes!?" I can't blame you, I'd think the same!!!

Any help is ,much appriciated .. Thanks

Gday BBass,
patience my friend, patience...
Given enough time and some of us might send you something, however, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, you should post some more samples of your playing, preferably not just drums, so we can evaluate if our tunes will suit...

It also takes time to prep tracks for this purpose, so just sit on it for a bit and let it brew...

cheers

Well, this has no drums. No bass for that matter either. Sorry, I don't think it was recorded to a click. If this doesn't totally bore you, I've got some other stuff that is also without drums.

Have fun!

Carlos hooked me up on a track to mess with. Thanks Bud!

ML, I may come back to you on this. I'll put it in my MP3 player and see what I can come up with.
