I've noticed a couple of rather peculiar bugs with Logic 8 that I am curious if anyone else has run into.
1. When opening up a Logic 7.2 session, and using the environment (yeah, I know, I can't seem to ween myself off of it), hitting a solo button there often results in dead silence.
I sometimes like to be able to use environment solo rather than S or Option+S in the arrange, so this is inconvenient to say the least.
2. When assigning multiple tracks to a record/edit group (as I normally do for tracking sessions), one or more channels will pop out of record (alternatively, stay record armed but not registering anything). When I try to re-engage them, an error message lets me know more than one track is assigned to the same input, even though that is clearly not the case. If I manually engage those channels from the environment, they will go back into record without complaints.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
