There should be sticky on this very subject...

the one of oops I forgot...

The one that always got me was forgetting to pan assign when using the 16 bus to tape instead of direct outs.

just today:

tracked drums with the laptop and went to back up files, but backed up the wrong direction, i.e. started saving the old folder over the new. i caught it before the audio files were destroyed, but the cubase project files reverted, so now i gotta manually sift through all that data and insert the punches and shit for twelve tracks of drums over two songs.

fuck.

And turn the level all the way down on your headphone bus before you strap on the cans and plug them in. YOW!
