OK Wombians.
Time for a challenge worthy of 2008.
First, the words:
Shaving, mowing, cutting, trimming: must be mentioned. Doesn't matter if it's your face, the lawn, a hairy pussy, whatever. Go with it.
Second, more words:
A sport must be mentioned or referred to. Baseball, basketball, football, etc. Specifically mentioned.
Third, the music:
Latin. Or, if you can't get all the way there, Latin-influenced. Latin-ish. Latin-esque. Afro-Cuban, samba, cha cha cha - pretend you're Poncho Sanchez or some-fuckin-body.
So that's it.
To recap:
Trim something. Play a game. Do the Rumba.
Feb 29th, people - you get an extra day 'cause I'm feeling generous.

do i have to use the "ing" versions of the word, or can i use "shave" "mow" and "trim"?
sorry, it wasn't clear enough in the rules for me.

I would say yes as the summary just says 'trim something'. Would a rumba about Venus Williams having a Brazilian count?

Like I don't already have a half dozen sports reference rhumbas that talk about trimming something.
Oh well. I guess one more won't hurt...

I KNOW... I've got the same problem... too many rhumba, not enough time, a BOND song yet still unfinished, yadda yadda. Why is it the rumba about sports and trimming something is soooooooo common?!??!?
I'm thinking: the pine tree and baseball, real football (soccer) and rhododendron, fly fishing and ... oooch, I can't pair something sharp with that(!), barry manilow and ... wait, how'd he get in here?!?!?... anyway, iceplant and ice hockey, basketball and pot, america and daisies, bob and dole. There's just too much.
I hope we all survive.
Merry January.

The musical portion of this is WAY outside my realm, so:
Can anyone suggest a slower, melancholy form of latin music, or is that a contradiction in terms?
Failing that, does anyone want to tackle this one as a collaberation?
I'm a word-guy first and foremost, and I've never done anything in a latin style.
Scratching my head...

Google for 'Bachata', that's the Blues of the latin music.
You'll like it.

Hey everyone! I'm new here but have been listening to past songs and am inspired to join in (Burn The Rick Down, Fishsong, Between The Thighs)! Can I just jump right in?
