I think it might be kind of amusing to hear a robot sing... particularly in Russian :grin:
OTOH, I'm thinking this is probably a good idea for a novelty album, but not an idea that's going to take off.
I have a preference for human singers :D
"A Place in the Sun" a music CD album with a fully virtual vocalist. We believe that this is the first album in the world of this kind. It includes 14 dance tracks in a modern arrangement, with lyrics in English and in Russian. Total running time is 70 min.

Seriously, have you used Waves VP1? They have all these different producers you can use, and you base the sound off of how they look, and the variables are which drugs or type of freaky sex they have, or how much sleep they get, that kind of thing. We don't even monitor audio anymore, too noisy, we just look at the waveform and pick the picture of the producer it should sound/look like, get him "loaded" and we ftp it off to mastering, because his L3 sounds totally different than our L3.

Might be a new idea for an album, but it certainly isn't a new idea for an album title...
Didn't Lit have a record called "A Place In The Sun?"
