Hello.
I am mainly a pro tools user but i recently brought logic 8 as I plan to start using some hardware to mix and PTLE isnt working for that.
I have never used logic before but want to learn it and would find it easier if it shared the same keyboard shortcuts as pro tools. I heard there is a way to change the shortcuts in logic so I can make them like the pro tools ones.
Does anyone know if this is true?? If so how would I go about it??

Key commands, sir. They're completely customizable (sp?).

Logic Pro --> Preferences --> Key Commands
*or*
Option --> K

Self explanatory from there.

Take care.

How come?

Its because of the delay. Unless you know of a work around?

So you're inserting hardware as a plugin?
Does LE not allow i/o plugin compensation?
It's in the i/o setup somewhere if it does.
Can't remember.

I don't run them in real time.
I 'print', then shift if needed.

Not sure about Logic 8, but I remember Logic 7 had a PT's key command set, that you could select.

Just remember that there are hundreds (I believe close to 800, but I could be wrong) of key commands available for your customization and usage. There should be handful there that will help you feel comfortable.
