Drove down to Cincinnati and caught Spock's Band, English Channel last night and it was a lovely evening. The Romulian Commander had so much fun she fell off her chair!...All 3 sets were tight, the sound was good, the crowd was into it and the beer was flowing.
My camera was giving me fits last night so I only got a couple of pics:

the first pic is Spock belting a great tune out and the second is the only pic that turned out of the rest of the band....

Man... I KNEW I was gonna miss a good gig...

Dammit Jer, you coulda' lied and said they sucked...

I'm sorry I missed Spock's vocal prowess on Dancing Queen. I've heard he's killer on the high part!

Seriously though, I hate I missed it. My brother had a couple of issues last night and couldn't get away. I owe ya's all a beer.

Just getting up and going today.

Yea only one IEM in that picture. Before we started of course I put one in and hit my keys, sound, OK, working.....

NOT.

It seemed like one side had died completely and the other one was cutting in and out. So after the first set I pulled out an old set of Shure E2s and used them the rest of the night.

Very good crowd, the owners of the place had big simles all night and had to help serve drinks it was that busy.

RC was having some problems getting the vocal levels where she wanted them, which was strange because the last place we played was this same place, and we setup exactly the same, and the 01V still had the last settings in it. Since we did not get a chance to do a proper sound check, because the owners of this place asked that we not, you have to deal with issues as they come up. It's only after the gig on the way home when talking about did we figure out what most likely was happening.

Anyway, it was god to see you again Jerry, thanks for coming out.
