Greetings all,
As anyone who has seen my signature already knows, CAPE V signups will commence January 1st 2007. A new year, a new forum, and a new beginning...it just seems to jibe well.
Given that we are still in the process of developing here at the Womb (how appropriate), I'm hoping that those of you who know of people who would be interested in participating in CAPE, but have not yet found The Womb, could kindly inform those people of the process and where we're at. I am most certainly not promoting the spamming of any other forums. No one likes to see that. But comments in sig lines of other forums you frequent, or other ways of letting people know would certainly be beneficial.
For those of you who are new to CAPE, the term stands for Collaborative Audio Production Experience...and is exactly as described. There will be a thread in which you can sign up, listing your relative talents on various instruments, songwriting, mixing, "project managing" etc. After the signups have gone on for four weeks (two weeks longer than last time), I then assemble balanced teams who have the task of starting and completing a production from start to finish within a set time frame (~three months). Some of the productions from the first four CAPEs have been nothing short of astounding, and I expect nothing less this time around.
So to recap, I'm asking you to spread the word, as it were, of CAPE, and let people know when the signups will occur. I have always made CAPE a very inclusive affair, and I have no desire to change that.
As always, PM or email me with any questions or comments.
See you there!
