Looks like our favorite Chinese Germans are making TOOB AMPS! Reverse-engineered Peaveys, to be exact...

Chermans

Isn't the Peavey a sort of reverse engineered Marshall?

I've seen this advertisement in some of the local music magazines around here, I always thought that the dude with the unplugged guitar was decapitated from the jaw line up or something......

or if you unfocus your eyes a wee bit or squint a little it looks like a buff dude with either a fish or a chiwowas head...It's flipping me out man.

But anyhow at least for now I haven't seen these amps floating about yet... Doesn't the world over already have its fair share of affordable yet toneless amps anyway?

not that all affordable amps are bad, quite the contrary, just that some are piss poor from time to time.

They mispelled 'Buggerall'. And the ad looks like a gay porn audition to me.

:D

The first auditions aren't too bad, but the call-backs are a pain in the ass.

:Uh oh:

I don't think so. They certainly don't sound alike.

Actually, they were. The early circuitry is extremely close. The differences were in the transformers, speakers, and output tubes.
