I just wanted to see if there were any guys out there willing to track a drum track for a tune I am working on. I would not be too picky. Just looking for someone to put up 4-6 mics and play along to my click and scratch guitar/bass tracks.

My hope is that I could get 44.1/24 wav files of each mic track back. This is not a paying gig, just for fun. Maybe to use as a demo for the next CAPE.

I have a short MP3 recorded from a little jam session where I fleshed out the idea with some guys, but I have since restructured the song.

I could provide the MP3 from that session to give you a feel for the vibe I am going for. You can tell me if it is your style or if you are interested, then I could provide the click and scratch tracks for the new version of the song.

I have not even started the new version to the click, so it may take me a bit to pull it together, but before I did it, I wanted to see if this is anything anyone would be up for.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Jim

PS: The song is not to far off from the song Hipshake found here: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playListId=264974226

Or here: http://www.last.fm/music/R.+Mutt/_/Hipshake

A bit faster and little rougher around the edges (about 128-130bpm)
