Mike Bolan + Al Wagner have a really great podcast on recording called the Project Studio Network (http://www.projectstudionetwork.com). Two very experienced musicians who have, in my opinion, the best recording podcast on the web.

I've been a guest on their show a few times. We're in the midst of a new series of shows right now: shows #49 thru #52. We've also got a contest going on + the winner get's a copy of MiLaR – for more info check out their show notes (http://psn.libsyn.com/). And I did a previous series of interviews back in May on shows #18 thru #21.

But they've got a years worth of shows + a wealth of great information on all of their extremely informative podcasts. So, when your not over here @ The Womb, check out www.projectstudionetwork.com

I heard that those guys suck. But, if you turn up your lava lamp
to 10 while listening, then I guess they're sort of tolerable. :Coolio:

Hey Big Al,
it's me from germany again. I didn't make the digidesign upgrade (from OS9 to HD), but I took your advice and bought me huge lava lamp from digidesign. The best lava lamp with great audio converters build inside and maybe the best product digidesign ever made. ;-)
And by the way you know it, Al: You have the best podcast ever.

Best, paulcezanne (Matthias) from Germany

Truly great podcast.

Love the current series of interviews with Charles -- that is the most useful set of descriptions of compression I've ever heard. Nice job, gents.

Thanks man. Charles was definitely on a roll that day.

Well...he's on a roll everyday. :)

Be sure to check the show notes for more info on the
ADSR = Compression topic.

If you're having a problem with iTunes check out PSN's podplayer here (http://psn.libsyn.com/) in the show notes. On the right hand side, scroll down a touch.

Or you can access the podplayer from a different site with the link below in my sig.

You don't need to download anything. Just follow the directions in our latest show and show notes for details on entering.

There's a link to the page in my sig file.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I can't believe it's been a year already.

We're just happy to have a bunch of wonderful people listening who not only derive value from the show, but also share their experience and knowledge by interacting with us.

And a big thanks to Charles (All Hail Dye!) as well as all of our esteemed guests over the past year for their kindness and willingness to come and spend time with us.

It just sync'd to my iPod and is ready for the morning Greyhound ride into Toronto (unless we have another Ice Storm... as if I would be so lucky). Of course, I will probably be listening to it about six times tomorrow, as I have done with the other podcasts, trying to soak in everything that Charles has talk about.

Add me to the list amongst the grateful for all of the time taken to share all of tips and techniques. Some things are worth more than gold! Hats off to you, Charles Dye!

Your answer to my question about schmeared tracks was very enlightening.

I'm glad someone asked it and more glad that Charles answered it.

If anything I'm listening to the podcast for the 3rd time. I'm stoked and can't wait to finish this one little multimedia project that I'm working (hopefully today :) ) on so I can practice everything I've learned in this one podcast!!
