Anybody know if itīs possible to make - letīs say five different mixes - five different headphone groups to each musician when tracking with Logic? Any trixx?????
For exemple the druma wants a little bit of this and that, the bass player wants different levels but otherwise same as the druma , the guitar player wants the same as the druma but different and the keyboardist wants only his keyboards and a litlle bit of everything else as well..........

This is possible in PT. Havenīt figured out how to do it in Logic.
Not possible is it? Tell me iīm wrong. Wouldnīt mind at all. On the contrary.

you can do it by using sends and busses, but you are monitoring via the DAW and there's going to be latency involved.

If all are playing live (and essentially need to monitor input) there's no point in monitoring through the DAW. You will get latency issues.

You can, however, do it through the audio interface, as lots of interfaces have cue systems (the MOTU interfaces is just one example).

If you need to monitor recorded material for overdubs, it's possible to set up a system of sends and outputs to accommodate for different cue mixes. I still recommend to monitor the input of the signal presently recording, however.

I have a PT HD system so there should be no latency. I just like to use Logic even when recording. Not only mixing. I am a Logic TDM user.

Ok. So itīs possible to set up different cue mixes with Logic as it is with PT. Thanks alot. Will try that.

I agree with otek... this is what hardware interfaces along with their monitoring software are best for.

This is stretching Logic's capabilities, despite the fact that there are ways to do it in Logic.
