Hi. I've got a song in Logic and at the end I want to FADE in loads of effects after the drums cut out. So say they cut out at 2.40, I want to fade in things like Chorus, Flanger, Phaser etc, but I don't want a hard cut into them, I want them at say 2.40 to hardly be noticable and at the end, say 3.40, the effects to be really strong and overwhelming the song, into some strange mish mash of noise!
Can anyone help me?!

There are many ways to do this and all of them will work. You can automate a bus send to your effects. You can also automate the effects bus (or the individual effects) themselves.
I'm just skimming the surface here. There are more ways to do this.

As Jord touched on - I'd split everything into two end stage buses and use autiomation. Both of these go before your main or final stage channel.
The first of the end stage buses, I'd have everything that you want to sound "pre-2.40" going through there.
I'd insert pre-fader sends on the channels you want to have on the SFX fade-out go to those wacky effects your setting up and send the output of those effects buses to go through the second end stage bus.
The rest is just a linear fade automation on the two end stage buses - 1 fades out, the other fades in.
Cheers, Dave
