Sorry for this slightly OT reply, but I was listening to this while browsing the 'Bitchslap??' thread over in the Mixerman forum...by pure chance the 'Slapping girls' video and the track kicked off together and stay locked...it seemed so pre-determined...like it was meant to be! It was a gold moment.

oh well...if you are ever looking for a clip  ...

Back to the track:

The guitar part at 2:20 (bridge) sounded very 'Primus-y'. Very unexpected, and cool.

My only 'concern' is 'the bigger picture'. All the tracks I've heard so far have had the same core sound (even though I liked them all as individual songs)...I just fear it might lose it's impact over an LP length.

I can't tell you how your music should sound, but may be a little more experimentation / exploration might be fun.

Thanks for the listen man.

Interesting comment about the core sound being the same. I guess maybe that's my bad because I tried to get them to sound that way.

All of the songs were tracked as one unit, and I my thinking was that it should all sound similar.

I can't say I'll do it like that again anyhow, but I guess I didn't consider that in the 'big picture' it might get... um.. boring?

Cool tune, cool vox, cool performance, cool sounds... Listening to it on comp speakers with crappy sub, so I won't comment on the sound quality.

Dug the part at 2:20 too.

The only thing that I thought it could use is more dynamics to give the heavy parts more oomph, and maybe some ear candy here and there - weird noises, wah pedal freak, whatever - because it sounds sort of standard issue heavy as it is.
