PSN Mixing Contest Update: A Mix To Dye For

Please submit your mixes that you feel best represent your current skill level.

The cool part is that it's a level playing field, because the best mix won't win. The winner will be chosen based on the mix that shows the most promise to benefit from the Grand Prize – a free copy of Mix It Like A Record.

Here's the lowdown on entering the contest:

You have until January 5, 2007 to submit your mix in the contest. Send us a mix that best represents your mixing skill.

What we require is an uncompressed .WAV file of your mix. Please send it to us using the free http://YouSendIt.com service.

Where it asks for the address you wish to send the file to, please use this one:

dyemix@projectstudionetwork.com

If you wish, you may also e-mail us some details about the song, the production, etc.

Grand Prize:

Autographed copy of Mix It Like A Record

Two Runner Up Prizes:

Amadeus Pro For Mac
Guitar and Drum Trainer for PC

Well, the entries so far have been really interesting. A wide variety of music from rock, to country, to even a children's song!

I don't envy Charles' task in picking the winner. :)
