I joined too late for the 3 event and August is drawing near... Anyone have any info about the logistical catastrophe that is going to be MiX iT 4?

Or has the number of entries in the 3 event killed the need for another event this year...

as you all have noticed, I haven't been around for quite a while.

I really need your help....


We were doing that new movie (guess you all saw that picture of me in my costume) and went down near Malaysia to take some fine shots....but then suddenly the trouble began. I nearly can't find the words to describe what happened. Incredible raw and brutal creatures came out of nowhere and hijacked me. Big Al and the rest of the crew managed to escape somehow...although I don't know if they made it back.


Anyway, I have no idea where I am...the only thing I've got here is an internet-ready cellphone to post this message under charge.


They even made me reset my Womb-account, brutal bastards....ouch!!!


The hijackers want 3.000.000 $ for ransom. They say, no pay - no more MixIt!!!! Chris, if you read this, I'm pretty sure you could pay the 1st million - I know you've got that hidden money under your pillow, please give it to them!


And to all the others: Please help me - now it's up to YOU!!!


For money transfer, the hijackers want to use the following system:


Please PM tannoy . He's got all the details. He will give you an account number. Please transfer all the money you've got. He will administer the ransom in trust until the whole sum is complete.

Now that Cape 7 has finally ended Charles and I thought it was time to get into a new MiX iT #4 cycle ....


If it wasn't for the Mixerman Radio Show recorded last week.

They have now called upon us to edit the Radio show into a presentable format for airplay and that ... well ... is proving to be quite a challenge.

We have to Auotune Slipperman's voice and that is proven a Monk's work worthy. Aardvarks' voice need to be edited because he insist to refer to the Habs as being the best Hockey team in the Galaxy every 3 seconds. We've already decided not to Autotune his voice because it is simply not worth the hassle. It doesn't really change anything.

As for Mixerman himself .... Since he's producing the Radio Show he wants his voice louder then all the others and we are likely to have to do a couple of remixes before we get final approval on something that everyone is happy with.

All that to say that .... as soon as we're done with the MMRS 2008 .... we'll do MiX iT #4 .... any day now .........

Can't speak for anyone else, but I am prepared to do as much for MixIt4 as I did for 3- do a mix, make a thread, and critically examine EVERY entry that's in on time and follows all the instructions and naming conventions etc.

No amusingly worded post here by which I take five minutes to explain why I'm not actually doing it right now ;) I'm checking the forum from time to time especially so I don't miss it when it happens, and I'm committing to it.

This is a new format. You can only convert from RAW to COOKED. COOKED is a lossy format, because you cannot get the original RAW from it, but it tastes a lot better...
