This is one way of customizing your Logic icons.

I thought there might be a couple of you who might benefit from this - but maybe not.

As usual - it is mostly for beginners - but you might get a laugh out of it.

Hope you enjoy.

Take care.

Funny stuff Scotty!!! My favorite line was right about the 4:02 mark!

yeah - I considered editing that part out, since it was a goof-up ... but then I thought: why?? People see me acting like an idiot anyway! It might add to the humor.
:)

Hope you enjoyed it, though.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to watch & reply.

I love these tutorials too - it's so funny/refreshing to hear that type of voice over on a tutorial. BTW - you might want to start the numbering of the user icons at 326 or higher. The numbered icons not accounted for in the Icons folder are in the Legacy Icons folder right next store, and this might cause some confusion if opening a L7 session (I don't mean the band).

Also, logicprofiles.com has a bunch of icons in a ton of different categories for free.

BTW - what software are you using to do the screen capturing and how cpu intensive is it? Do you use Soundflower or something to capture the audio from Logic? What's odd is, I'd kind of like to see a tutorial on making tutorials like these, even if it is relatively simple.

@ Cheech: as for Zooming - there are some other ways to do it, too. These were just a couple of ways that I happen to use. And with the icons - just remember (if you are going to get some pics offline) to llok for .png files that are 128(h) x 128(w), and you will be fine. You da man!

@ Dubnick: thank you for taking the time to watch and reply, sir. I surely do appreciate it. Those are some good points that you make - good input. LogicProHelp does have a whole lot of ICONS (http://www.logicprohelp.com/icons.php) <---(press the link!) for those that don't want goofy icons (like me).
:D

@ shhpeaceful: what a great compliment. Thank you. It's a good feeling to have somebody laugh at these videos (obviously I am trying to make it a little funny), but it is an even better feeling when somebody learns something from them. I am glad to help, sir.

I hope that you fellas keep on watching. The way that I see it (and I may have already explained my theory on this), the more people get involved with watching these "would-be" tutorials, the more likely I think we are to see the Apple team give some more attention for updates, bug fixes, etc.
I also realize there are a lot of other videos with this same stuff out there - but that is another thing that I think you can't really have enough of: helping other people reach their goals.

Take care, y'all.
And thanks again for watching and the replies.
