Hey everyone. I just spoke with Kenny, and based on a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, his current schedule in the studio, we're going to take his name off the marquis.
Kenny and I always had the understanding that his role as the Forum Leader for our gear forum was most likely temporary. And I really appreciate him getting things rolling for us. We love Kenny around here, and he's not going anywhere, he's just not going to be running this particular forum right now.
Malice will be the Forum Leader on a very temporary basis.
Thanks again Kenny. You're the best!
Enjoy,
Mixerman

Yep, he did a good job
Gear forums are prone to name calling and stuff, and he kept everything nice and fluffy.

Yeah, Kenny is one of the best fluffers this forum has ever seen.
Not speaking from personal experience of course.

Bummer. Kenny adds some definite 'balance' to the site in my
opinion. Good luck with whatever you do man!

What the fuck?
You know the old adage: "If you want something done, give it to a busy man"...right?
Well...
:D
Best of luck with all of those endeavours that are keeping you from this place.

Ahh...
Fuck Kenny and the 3 legged Appaloosa he rode in on !!!!
First thing he did here was put up some ghey stickys about immortal songs of lower Kazakhstan or whatever.
As I said in my first post in this god-forsaken shithole ... why don't we get just Helen Keller and Shamu the Killer Tuna or whatever the fuck ya call that big fish to run the fucking forum?
OK. I suggested ecue. Not because he knows fuck-all about gear... fuck no... he's now a plug-in fag, but he PRETENDS to know about the subject in a moderately convincing fashion and in this way makes an excellent target for "in the know" hardware Gods like myself.
ecue reportedly refused the gig due to a previous Mens RaceWalking commitment.
Which begs the question. Is there ANYTHING more TOTALLY FLAMING than Men's Racewalking?
Unknown. ecue has all the answers on that particular subject and fuck-all for answers on audio gear that doesn't come on a DVD in a giant, otherwise empty, cardboard box.
OK. Gotta go.
Friends to make.
Gear to destroy.

Anyone thought of asking Fletcher to mod this forum (post Malice)? Or would that be not unbiased enough since he works in retail?

IMO Fletcher would be the right man, but with a look at his posting history here I guess he wouldn't have enough time for it.

I found him helpful when asked about gear I didn't buy from him, which is why I had the idea, but, OTOH, if someone asked for honest opinions, it might put him on the spot as far as critiquing products they carry (i.e. "so, Fletcher, I heard the Mercenary Edition________is total crap, can you comment?") :icon_eek:

Kudos to Kenny. Very transparent moderation.

That's it. No more. I quit. No more spacebar, F12, or sideways triangle. Done engineering forever. You're welcome.
Taking up painting. I'll keep the iloks and use them as ninja shurikens to fling at slip's ears should I ever run into him on the street.
Or, ehm, speedwalk into him on the... nevermind... trainwreck....

Sad to see Kenny go: many good tips and valuable nuggets cached from him.
