...makes me sad. I'm relocating in 2 weeks and am not sure if I'll have the means to get my tracks recorded. Most of my stuff will be remain in storage for a few months. So unless someone would be willing to help, Im going to have to sit this one out

Anyone else?

Uh...wrong.

Part of the Cape idea is to help each other out. I recorded a number of parts for other team members and will do so again...I am not the only one who has done this.

I reckon you should sign up with the caveat that you need to be partnered with someone in your area because of your technical situation. I'll wager Shaun can sort something out to help you on this. He has a good idea of who is where and can be of help.

Don't give up so quickly, we are here to help build personal and professional networks!

Cheers,
Aardvark

As Aardy suggests, I can CERTAINLY help you out in this, Imagineaudio. I hope you sign up, as there are few obstacles in this day and age that cannot be overcome, so long as you have the will to do so.

All you need do is state in your sign-up post what your limitations are, and I'll do what I can when putting teams together. You're in an urban area with numerous tracking facilities (and fellow Womb members) in your proximity. I doubt it will be an insurmountable obstacle.

PM me any details, if you don't feel comfortable mentioning them publicly.

It pains me to say it, but I think I'll have to sit this one out myself.
Too much turmoil, not enough time. I'll try and catch the next one, though.
CaPE's a blast; anyone who hasn't done it before should dive on in.

Didn't you say this last time?

Didn't you get coerced into it, after a series of heartfelt posts and ultimately have a wonderful CAPE experience?

You KNOW you CAN do it. You KNOW you WANT to do it. So...DO IT! :D

Bummer... Please to reconsider oh Wailer of Pale. It was a huge treat the day your tracks arrived at my place last time. Instant grin-ification.

Yeah, oh Pale one, CAPE is easier in action than it seems in anticipation!

Of course, I'm a bass player, so YMMV!!!

Thanks very much for that Fletcher. I am sure this will be of great help to the project as a whole.

Fletcher that is most gracious of you.

May I warn you against helping any of two characters called dwoz and/or Fulcrum onto your premises, though.
These are notorious troublemakers and I'd hate you to waste your time on this lot. You can only be generous up to a point.

I kid, I kid. :D
Thanks a lot for this offer, this is what Cape is all about. :Coolio:

Youse guys are all far too cool.
I'm sitting this one out due to lack o' time. I'll be watching and enjoying the proceedings, and probably kicking myself repeatedly, but it'd be unfair to commit to a team right now.
I did have a blast (again) last time, but it was a cliff hanger for me. I had exactly ONE day available to track my parts by the time the song was ready for horns. If my team had vetoed them, there was no way I could have re-tracked them.
My schedule is even stupider now than it was then, so I'm gonna have to sit it out.
My loss.
Looking forward to the impending toaster fest,
PW

While I did have a bit of fun over in the other thread at the expense of this thread I do expect all of you to participate. No exceptions will be granted short of your own personal death. Even then we may be able to set up an x-y pair to catch the flies buzzing around and wind escaping from your bloated, decaying corpse in stereo. It will then be redone by Aardy (with feeling).

We can get Ded4now to instruct us in the finer points of this procedure.

:D

I wish I could, but I can't. E_shaun knows my lame excuses so I won't bother the rest of you with them. Have fun, I will envy you so much.

Will be back for the next CaPE, so there'd better be one. :)

Yeah...it sucks that you won't be around for this one, Tammikuu. Your contributions as both a researcher and performer have greatly enhanced CAPE over the years.

I do, however, look forward to your involvement next time. :)

Man, I'm bummed... I just found Womb yesterday... a couple days late for this CAPE. E.Shaun, I read you might have a "backups" list at some point.. you can put me on that one. Mixing, Keys, Programming, BGVs.

After the CAPE Team Announcements are made tonight, I'll create a thread for CAPE Reserves.

There will likely be a few...
