View Full Version : Not saying I won't participate in CaPE this time...

I'm too busy to say whether I will be participating in CaPE this time. I might, I might not. One thing is for sure. I will not be writing a thread about whether I will or will not be participating in CaPE. I simply don't have the time. For those declaring one way or the other, I wish you the best. Good luck. Bon chance. Viel Gluck. Anyone else with me?

Well, I don't look forward to your non-contribution that hasn't yet been expressed, Fizbin...

I think?

Now I know what a pretzel feels like.

Suffice it to say, if anyone has signed up, but realizes after the fact that they absolutely CANNOT participate, just fire me a PM.

I think you've completely missed the point. I didn't say any of that. And I won't be saying it any time soon. So stop putting words into my mouth.

I too have considered distancing myself from the uninvolvement of the non-signing of the Cape rosters.

Umm, I'm partial to pecan pie.

I was on the fence again and decided to do it...

Knowing full well as a procrastinator that my involvment might result in a noninvolment precursor to the spontaneous involment of the currently uninvolved.

Know what Im saying?

I wish to publicly distance myself from any discussion of CaPE, by those people who wish to publicly distance themselves from any discussion of their possible refusal to discuss the participation or lack of participation by any other member, and I certainly will not be replying to any posts in furtherance of any such discussion

Naw, he signed right up. I took it as a comment both on Russell's paradox and recursion.

Sign up FFS!

It's less about your level of "jedi-ness" on the buttons, and more about your ability to contribute in whatever way you can to the group.

Cheers,
Tim

Absolutely. Ability is important, but not nearly as important as attitude. The "skill ratings" are merely a gauge of how you see yourself. I'm fully aware that some folks who list themselves as maestros truly aren't, in any objective sense of the word...and some folks who list themselves as adequate can absolutely nail their parts...

It's more the experience of it...and so long as you have some musical ability, you can definitely thrive in CAPE.

This will be my final non-statement on this topic.

Pass the pecan pie please.
