Default CAPE 10 - SECOND HELPING! Team Samizdat

They could not leave well enough alone. They are unstoppable.
Like a freight train out of control they keep on plowing their way through the internet superhighways until they reach the toppermost of the poppermost: that famed top spot on the CAPE RADIO!
(what the hell am I talking about? )

You read that right: TEAM SAMIZDAT came up with MORE!
Let's all give them a big round of applause, and quickly duck for cover as the aural onslaught begins.

Hey its up!!! Awesome! Thx Goes!!
Well we are working on a 3rd one too!....

Yer gonna feel pretty wrong when I come sailing into your breakfast nook behind the wheel of a cement mixer, and start twiddling around on yer skull with a fucking tire iron. I'll be humming "Watcher of the Skies" the whole while.

The first 2 are free, but I will have to charge you for the third, of course.

Thanks Goes! Happy to have this track see the light of day. It took awhile to put together, but we enjoyed the whole process. My hard drive inexplicably died in late May, but fortunately I had uploaded the pertinent tracks before that happened.

This team is pretty fantastic to work with. Very democratic, but all willing to acknowledge when we needed someone (Zoesch!) to make an executive decision. He "execudecided" like a pro.

I just figured it out! No one has commented because they're all silently swaying with their Bics in the air.

That, and the fact that most Capers went back into lurk mode while other regulars chat away about politics, economy and the like...
The same reason why the graffiti second helping did not get any real comments

    Well, back to the song.

I like this one more than your first. Lots of energy, without the marathon length of "Falling through"

Sounds like it was a lot of fun,

    Cheers

Which is why I suggested you just post the song when you first completed it.

    Cape is over.

If it's a song you're proud of, let people hear it when it's finished.

You would have gotten more listens on the sounding board.

Maybe we should post this on the Sounding Board as well then.

    Yes...

But it is also not a good idea to anger the gods of Cape

(and that was the main argument when we asked that the second song be published with the main cape release - on release day...)

Except that wouldn't really have been fair to the other teams.

    Why not?

In stead of one song of 9min, we had two songs of 3:30min.
And done in time for the deadline...

What we should have done was to combine the two tracks into one. I see that now.

I guess that our 2nd song delayed Team Grafitti's second song release and pushed it out of the "CAPE attendance span".
    Sorry for that.
