    Default CAPE - DIY edition!

    Hey All,

This is a thread for people to start collaborating without waiting for an official CAPE to arrive.

To kick it off, I'm looking to record a track. I've put in some names for slots (from volunteers on another thread, but they'll need to be confirmed!)

    Producer:
    Songwriter: Sketchy McNads
    Mixer: MortenDK
    Vocal: [Carlo]
    Guitar: Keks
    Guitar: omikl
    Bass: redbone
    Keys:
    Drums:

If you want play too either reply or send me a PM.
If you want to start your own team, add a post!

Once the team is confirmed, I'll ask (very nicely) to see if the mods will make us a team forum...

Yer gonna feel pretty wrong when I come sailing into your breakfast nook behind the wheel of a cement mixer, and start twiddling around on yer skull with a fucking tire iron. I'll be humming "Watcher of the Skies" the whole while.

Hey Legros, we have slots open for:

    Producer:
    Keys:
    Drums:

If you don't feel comfortable with any of these roles, we can start assembling team 2 (qharley has put his hand up to mix this)..

I'd be happy to produce as well if no one else pipes up, but I don't wanna hog all the fun.

I am your to abuse and insult...and who knows, ya think they might cut us in for a private forum, or should we just be public, and holler back and forth here in the yard?

Public would be far more interesting and informative for the whole forum...

A public CAPE...but, but, but....I need smoke and mirrors!

How can we secretly use auto-tune/beat detective/etc if everyone hears the pre-mix tracks?

    Well, I'm game.

Anyhow, we really need a drummer!

Paging all CAPE drummers, please answer the white courtesy phone!

A keyboardist would be welcome too...

Or a sub forum in this one at least, so we dont clutter up this one with porn links and other useless links of boredom and what not! while we wait to make our moves!.

I'm not quite sure that publicity does producing a favour.
And I know that some tracks in some Cape tunes started as a joke for shitz and gigglez, and made it into the final mix.
I'm not entirely convinced that at first sight silly ideas get tossed out as easily in front of the whole interwebs to see.
    But anyways,
    I'm in.

I'll ask my drummer friend if he wants to do it. Whose got the track? I'm ready to lay down some lead guitar!

given that generous offer, i think we *could* kick this off?
and i'm all for a public forum, it'd be fun to lurk at
