Did I cut a section by accident?
It could stand to be longer, it's only like 2:30 or so at this point.

We don't have to use the shuffle, but it's just fun toe to jam it on there.

Suggestions are welcome as to how to fit it on there.

    hey,

good to see we have a full team working!

so many ideas! I liked andy's mix. I liked the distorted vocal section (makes it rock more, that's why I added the evil chords, etc), and I liked the shuffle part.

I agree, maybe some heavier gtr!

but the shuffle part sounded like a jam-type ending so maybe it comes in too early.

I retried to upload the demo-synth, hopefully it's there. again just some ideas for thoughts.

Hi. Can you please expand on "also, a little less thin and effected"?

I think I get the effects comment - I presume you mean remove the delay and reverb, but can you explain what you mean by a little less thin? You mean ever more distortion? If so, in what 'vogue'? Give me a style you can think of.

    Thanks, Mick.

Like more mids or something. I'm not trying to be a dick (though ill surely come off that way) but I disliked the tone to the point that I couldn't fairly evaluate the actual part.
(Also it was mixed In and couldn't be soloed.)

As for the shuffle, if someone has a way to get it in there I'd like to, though admittedly partially because it appeals to my seance of humor.

I won't die without it, but it would humor me to no end if we could get it in there.

OK. I'll track it again, and maybe use a different guitar.

By the way - as I think I mentioned it, I simply posted the guitars as an idea - assuming that someone might say "yes. I like it. Let's get the individual wav" (or in this case, "No - it's shit! Do it again"! )

But I'm getting how we work. I'll get something asap.

By the way - I'm not trying to be a dick either, but I really don't think the shuffle fits - at least not when it comes back in after the guitar from Andy - it just changes the whole track. I think if you leave the shuffle in, then maybe it should be filled out more at that point?

Well I guess it's looking pretty bad for the shuffle.
    Puppy hating bastards.

Maybe someone will figure out some way to shoe horn it in.
    Maybe not.

I guess my thinking was that at that point it was about to be so chaotic that there was not really many places you could go with it, so take a left turn entirely.

Maybe (like you say) with more stuff it might work?

Again, I'm not married to it, but it would make me happy if we could figure out a way to jam it in.

K, now the synth stuff is in the dropbox, but can i get that without all the backing tracks and also without the thriller intro?

then i'll drop it in and properly abuse it some
make sure it's a zero start, or there's some way i can line it up with the rest of the stuff.

also can i get the srch vocals and the scratch keys separate from one another.
possibly a "busy" and a "not busy" version of the keys?

also, can i get people to attach their womb moniker to their files?

that way i'll know who to address
there's another guitar track in there i hadn't seen before (it fits the shuffle), and i have no idea who did what.
also, maybe a version of the rythm git someone played with the "shuffle" version, but straight 123123123123123123........ no stresses etc.....

all lead bits on separate tracks, zero start, etc....

    thanks!

hey man i don't know if i like the shuffle or not ... it really depends on what comes before !!!

we need a middle section ANYWAY IMHO . . .

With great monitors its easy to hear and fix problems but hard to enhance things that already sound good.

With hyped monitors, everything sounds good so you don't hear the problems.

With bad monitors, it seems easy to make absolutely anything sound better because you are really fixing the sound of the monitors rather than the sound of the recording.

I'm sorry to agree...but... I agree (And yes. I LOVE puppies.. I have one of my own!). I just don't think it works - it confuses the song. If it was all shuffle, or none at all, it would be cool, but I don't think it flows. I spent 3 hours trying to get an acceptable (heavy) guitar track to fit today... and quit! (I'll try again tomorrow).

In the meantime, if we change the format, let me know.

Oh...and I am on vacation from the 12th to the 20th. I'm guessing that there are enough guitar players out there to cover, but if for some reason, you really need me... I'll be back then!

    Thanks, Mick.

    ok, we'll kill the shuffle.
i still want that 3time rythm though. i was thinking i could do something neat with it over the 4/4 version.
    some texture kinda.

    hey team,

I uploaded some trax in the new folder "instrument tracks single", giraffe put there for ind trax.

let me know if they're not there and i'll redo it. thanks.

hope they all work I put a clik on the front end to line'n up, if that doesn't work, let me know and i'll fix that.

all tracks are without any efx, eq, reverb, or anything

the vocal trak is the orig vocal trak without any backing keys or drums.

busy ep is just the opening verse. if more busy ep is needed let me know.

fred efx is synth sounds. pls don't use them if you don't want, no problem! if you want to move them, just cut and paste.

fred verse pad is synth pad that might work mixed back under the verse vocals?!

fred simple ep is sparse ep for whole song, as it stands now.

I should have an ep for a jam ending (just an idea for gtr solo ending) soon.

    thanks. fred

    ok,

I put two more files in the drop box.

fred verse bells, just a bell type sound for accents. if people don't like them, we don't need to use them.

fred jam ending, just an idea for an ending, we could put gtr solo's over it?

I'm just busy. Gotta mix an album, plus the odd recording gig, building a building in the back yard, just picked up a string of live sound gigs.
I sell stuff on eBay, need to mow the lawn and clean the gutters.
    On and on.....

Hopefully can look at it sat.
    Please be patient.
    My apologies.

    hey gang!

    good to hear from ya'll.

good to hear giraffe is doing so well in music.

has anyone got any ideas for a good intro?

how about a break down after the last verse going into an ending? drums and bass?

drummer tom said he would have something soon. I've worked with him before, he's very good!

I think mick335 is on vacation. he mentioned something about another guitarist. who is that? maybe have trade off gtrs for an ending?? just some thoughts.

i can play some guitar if needed, not the best guitarist ever here...but hey, we can try some...i think we need a solid structure and an arrangement direction now . . .
