    There you go!

That being said I had a doubt about one chord or two.

Maybe jstuart can help us figure them out.

The first doubt is about the BFlat ( original key) where the vocals are "a broken down dreamer".
The chord sequence is Cm7 BFlat Cm7 BFlat AFlat. That BFlat sounds a bit odd in the demo, doesn't it ? I couldn't figure out a voicing that sounds close to the original, but maybe I'm just wrong and it's a simple BFlat.

it is a simple B flat ( remember it's a guitar chord- so a keys voicing might sound somewhat different.)

The other strange chords are in the "chorus".
"I turn to you, I turn to you".
Are them plain Aflat and BFlat ?

    A flat 7 and B flat 7

    enjoy!
    Does that help?

With great monitors its easy to hear and fix problems but hard to enhance things that already sound good.

With hyped monitors, everything sounds good so you don't hear the problems.

With bad monitors, it seems easy to make absolutely anything sound better because you are really fixing the sound of the monitors rather than the sound of the recording.

It's vintage only if it works. Otherwise it's just an old piece of junk !

Yes, for now the only thing we have is my piano-guide track.
I hope we'll make some progress in the near future

    Gsus...

When I signed up for this, I read through some of the old threads about previous CAPEs and I thought it was hilarious how slow people were, recording their stuff and contributing to the cape. Nobody is THAT busy, I thought.

Well think again, will you... "You live and you learn" applies perfectly here! I have been SWAMPED with work - Work, familiy, gigs, studiowork and what have you... But - NOW I finally had a go at the drums...

These drums are meant to be a guide track. It's been very difficult groovin' and playing all the nice little breaks, marks and stuff, when only playing to a piano guide track... I really needed a bass, an off-beat guitar and some keys... But here's for getting started.

    Cheers

    /Kasper

ps. the track is in the shared Copy.com folder...

Is everybody as busy as I am, or do I need to retrack the drums?
