It sounds a bit too much like you're trying to win the loudness war for my own personal taste, but otherwise, very cool
Man! You have GOT to try a hit of this RANGE SUNSHINE!

Ah man... you are going to hate my guts. It's not still posted, but I think I liked what you had going on originally.

For me, that bass part is bomber. I love it. But it felt like it wasn't matched by the other parts. The bass is aggressive and driving, I wanted the guitars to have some irreverence or raunchiness. I thought this was going in a heavier direction. I don't know what the video for this song in my head was about exactly, but there was a house engulfed in flames and other gnarly on fire stuff. haha.

That said ... knowing what you've been posting and some of the thoughts you've mentioned before, I hear a you're style take over at like 3 seconds in, and it's reinforced at the 20 second mark. I identified it as one of "your song" right away.

I'm chalking this up to my taste just being different. It's not the first time. But I think you have a bass line, then this other song over that bass line that doesn't quite fit. I mean they fit together in time and arrangement, it's just that I hear something completely different when I here the first 3 seconds kick off.

No offense...it's well beyond what I can do and I'm reluctant to be critical of anyone that can do something I can't. But that's what I think when I hear it.

    thanks for listening, nobby..

well, my RMS levels during mastering, were only -13db average.....

so that is definitely not too hot.

the dynamic range on this mix is 10,
compared to something like QOTSA like clockwork,
    which comes in at DR6........!!

so i'm definitely not even going there!

Heh heh, well, whatever. I've been listening to older records and my own stuff so I had to turn down the inputs to my monitor amp.

Clockwork is smashed to roadkill. Pretty much unlistenable IMO. YMMV
