I know Ola is cuz I saw his name on recent posts.

    How ya'll doing???

I work in broadcast now. How the wheel turns, eh?

Anyway, just saying what's up to everyone keeping the home fires burning. Hope you're well!

I don't know if I'd qualify as "old guard" but I'm still here. Had to move out of SF, I'm about 60 miles north now. Still making music, not dead yet.

    Good to see you!

I don't know either but you definitely qualify as "old", John! Haha, nice to see you too!

Nice to see some familiar faces still around.

I've been divorced, changed career direction and aged considerably since the last time I was on here. I've spent the last 4 years supporting Avid in the old R of SA and now I work for the Avid video distributor. Although of course I handle all to do with Avid pro audio for them too. I deal mostly with Nexis shared storage, Interplay Production and all that fun stuff in large broadcast environments across Africa.

Still running my own personal studio on the side, which is great cuz I can really pick and choose my projects and put the love back in instead of busting my balls on thankless work all the time. It supplements my life nicely.

Other than that, my daughter just turned 6 and I'm happy as a pig in shit!

Hope all you guys are well! I'll try pop in here more often and give my 2c (ZAR) worth.

    Cheers!

Did the same thing. I hardly count as old guard, but hey, I'm still here.

I still think I count as new. I'm still here contributing very little but checking up all the time. A quality post here once a week is worth more than 10,000 thoughtless quips elsewhere on the web...

I also got married and got burnt out at the same time. I haven't got a sports car yet, but I seem to be right on track for a mid life crisis solo record... I just have to talk about it for 10 years, first.

Actually been listening to more music in the past 6 months than ever in my whole life. Wonder if that's related. Glad to hear some good news

Hey Mo, so I guess you won't be needing that 4038 anymore, eh? You can send it to me, I'll take good care of it!
I would go so far as to say that pop art is the ultimate reflection of society.

Donít think about that too much. Itís too painful.
