    Wow Dik,

This is great stuff for anyone, but especially for this Internet drummer wannabe who's been mostly learning as we go. I'm looking forward to applying some of this Juju to Cape 7!

But not too soon... I fractured a bone in my right foot last week. No thumping seven on the floor disco beats for this guy for at least 4 weeks! Picture of x-ray is attached.

Thanks for doing this thread dik. I will spread the rumour about this.

    dikledoux,
Great posts, lots of great CAPE information there.

    LoveDrums,
Dude, you realize that is not just a fracture?
    That bone looks freaking shredded!
    All the best.

Word on the street is that LoveDrums was injured filming Goes211's latest signature.

Animation stunts can be dangerous, so thank goodness they got it in one take!

I hope it heals fast, LoveDrums!

By the way, I've gotten a couple requests to post the single-sample wave file for those who don't have an easy way to generate one, so here it is... Special thanks to Trazan, who supplied this for Team Aardvark and actually turned me on to this trick in the first place. It's 24 bit, 44k mono. Easy-Peasy.

That Trazan!! He made one for Team Galactic. He didn't explain it with the pictures like you did, but I got the idea and have been trying to use something like it on other teams. If you want to make one yourself the shareware wave editor I found called Wavosaur. You can make a short wave file of just about any depth or sample rate you want. Then under The Tools > Synthesis pick Dirac at Cursor. Trim blank space from the head of the file and save it. Then you can pull this tick into your DAW and snap a copy to the count off beats.
